If you are serious about afternoon tea, Espelette is a destination experience and has been awarded membership of the British Tea Council.
The ‘Chic and Shock’ afternoon tea is the perfect refreshment after a hectic morning in London and served in a delightfully pretty setting overlooking world famous architect Tadao Ando’s new water feature.
Choose from a wide selection of teas from Imperial Earl Grey to French Vanilla to Sencha Genmai Cha.
Chic and Shock Afternoon Tea is £35 per person and treats include:
- A mouth-watering selection of finger sandwiches that change with the seasons.
- A range of classic and flavoured teas
- Fresh scones from the Connaught Bakery served with clotted cream
- Jam menu featuring an amazing 16 home-made Christine Ferber jams
- Delicious cakes and pastries from chef patissier Kirk Whittle

Galette des Rois
This January we bring one of the most charming French traditions to the Connaught afternoon tea, Galette des Rois.
The Connaught's Galette des Rois will be served as part of the afternoon tea for the whole month of January, and to add a touch of sparkle to our Galette des Rois this year we have collaborated with Helene's favourite French jewellery house, Eternamé. One daily afternoon tea guest will be awarded with a beautifully designed piece of jewellery when they discover the fève in their piece of galette.

Monday to Friday 3:00-5:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30pm sittings
