Design philosophy

Creating a unique, contemporary central London hotel 

Everyone involved in the design of the hotel worked towards the same goals:

  • preserving the character of the old Connaught and its period features
  • adding superior, cutting-edge, 21st century luxury qualities
  • creating a contemporary and unique 5 star hotel

Only experienced designers in period restoration with an understanding of what the luxury traveller requires were invited to work on the project. The result is a luxurious designer hotel with a timeless and unique character.
