Tkts to celebrate 30th anniversary

London visitors can pay a visit to Leicester Square in August to join in with the celebrations of the tkts theatre ticket booth's 30th birthday. The outlet will mark its anniversary with some special events on 10th and 11th August.

Tkts is the Society of London Theatre's official outlet in the West End. Guests staying at the Connaught hotel in Mayfair can visit Leicester Square after checking in to their luxury room and having afternoon tea in London.

Members of the public will be able to take advantage of some special promotions and giveaways during the anniversary celebrations, with scratch cards offering a range of theatrical prizes being handed out on 10th and 11th August. On the first of the two days, free theatre tickets will be given away to the first 30 people in the queue at the tkts outlet.

Visitors can currently pick up tickets for London's biggest shows at the booth, including Mamma Mia!, The Lion King and Legally Blonde.
