Hélène Darroze at the Connaught
Parisian style and a passion for fine ingredients
As a holder of a Michelin star for her restaurant on the Left Bank in Paris, Hélène Darroze has already made her mark in London, recently receiving her first Michelin star for Hélène Darroze at the Connaught.
She worked as the right-hand woman to Alain Ducasse at the Louis XV restaurant in Monte Carlo and oversees all food menus at the Connaught.
As a 4th generation descendent of a long line of chefs, Hélène takes her cooking philosophy from her French Gourmet heritage. The emphasis is on the very finest ingredients.
“The star is not the chef but the produce, and you must treat it respectfully,” Hélène explains. “I cook from my heart and put my emotions into every dish.”
