A team of internationally renowned designers were cherry-picked to bring the Connaught up-to-date with state-of-the-art technology and a design-led interior.
Fans of the old Connaught don't need to worry. The restoration was carried out with meticulous attention to period detail, while adding the best of 21st century design.
Design expertise
Guy Oliver – Oliver has put his stamp on many of the hotel’s suites and rooms, making subtle enhancements and improvements while retaining character and atmosphere.
David Collins – designer of the Connaught Bar, Collins was inspired by the original Edwardian architecture and English Cubist and Irish 1920s art. He also designed the hotel’s new penthouse, The Apartment, created for the well-travelled, with eclectic tastes in art, culture and literature.
India Mahdavi – based in Paris, Mahdavi aims for the spaces she designs to tell a story about their location. She has done this with both The Coburg Bar and Héléne Darroze at the Connaught by adding some elegant touches.
