Cinderella

The Show Will Go On

In a joyous return to the West End, audiences are invited to take their seats as Andrew Lloyd Webber raises the curtain on his new romantic musical comedy, Cinderella. Bold, heartfelt – and featuring an unforgettable score – this highly anticipated production reimagines the classic tale for the 21st century.

With an original book by academy-award winner Emerald Fennell, Cinderella tells the story of a social outcast in the seemingly perfect town of Belleville. Fairy-tale favourites – including The Godmother, Prince Charming and The Stepmother – are joined by new characters in this striking commentary on identity, society and love.

Spotlight on…

Following roles such as Veronica Sawyer in Heathers and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, the queen of teenage angst – Carrie Hope Fletcher – is perfectly cast as Cinderella. Meanwhile, 2020 graduate Ivano Turco brings fresh talent to the stage as Prince Sebastian.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s latest composition promises to be royally entertaining.

It’s true to the fairytale, but it’s got real humour, real warmth and an edge!
