The Connaught Bar

The Connaught Bar, with its own distinctive entrance on fashionable Mount Street, is David Collins’ 21st Century interpretation of the original Edwardian architecture, inspired by English Cubist and Irish 1920s art, its textured walls shimmering in platinum silver leaf overlaid with linen panels of dusty pink, pistachio and lilac.

The cocktails too combine the finest traditions of the past with innovative new twists. Exclusive vintages and limited edition champagnes, spirits and liqueurs join a six section cocktail menu which includes a new take on the classics, a selection using fresh seasonal ingredients, champagne cocktails, “virgin” or alcohol-free creations and the mixologists’ own special favourites.

The food menu has been created by the Connaught’s award-winning chef, Hélène Darroze, who has introduced some of her signature ingredients and flavours from the south-west of France.

The Connaught Bar is open Monday to Saturday  4pm  - 1am; Sunday closed.
