The Prince’s Lodge
Inspired by Kabul’s Peacock Palace and named after Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, the Prince’s Lodge is uniquely crafted to embody both Islamic design and Mayfair style, setting ornate carving amid minimalist architecture. Guests in this suite will come home to a long-ago traveller’s collection of treasures – hand-carved furniture from Kabul, maps and photographs dating back to 1870, stained glass windows, sculptures by stone carver Adam Williamson and stunning paintings. All this is mixed with the latest in modern technology creating the perfect retreat for the cultured traveller.
