Maybourne Online Credit Card Terms and Conditions
Upon receipt of this form and before service can be provided the card supplier will be contacted and verification sought. The form will not be accepted should any of the details not correspond with those held by the card supplier.
The personal information we require to provide service to your guest(s) is your name and card billing address.
We will need to collect your credit card details from you to process the requested transaction, including but not limited to the card number, expiry date, type of card, name appearing on the card and credit card verification number.
Maybourne uses Braintree. Braintree is a full-stack payments platform that makes it easy to accept payments via our mobile applications and group websites. This service replaces the traditional model of sourcing a payment gateway and merchant account from different providers. Rest assured that security of the transaction is of the utmost importance, further details regarding Braintree’s security controls can be found here.
All information collected from you will be used only for the purposes for which it was obtained. Maybourne takes reasonable precautions to protect from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, Maybourne does not warrant or represent that its level of security meets or exceeds any particular standard. You should keep in mind that no internet transmission or storage database is wholly secure or error-free.
All printed material containing your personal and transactional information is stored securely in accordance with the relevant legislation concerning data storage.
Payment details such as credit card numbers should not be emailed or transmitted to Maybourne other than through our secure payment form.
Maybourne cannot guarantee the security of any data transmitted through the internet and cannot be held liable for unauthorised access of your information recieved from you or delivered to you using the internet.
Credit card details must be provided a minimum of 48 hours before the reservation/group/event is due to take place.
Unless alternative payment has been received, should the reservation/group/event be cancelled within the period outlined on the contract/confirmation, a cancellation fee will be applied to the card details provided. This applies even if card details have been provided for guarantee purposes only.
If the diners on whose behalf you have submitted the form do not attend at the time of their reservation, a no-show fee will be applied to the card details provided.
If the form submitted is intented to pay for special amenities in the guest room, event room or dining table and the guests either (a) cancel within 24 hours of their stay, or (b) do not arrive, the requested amenities will be charged to the card details provided. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Maybourne.
Please be aware that guests will be asked for payment directly should we be unable to obtain payment from the card detailed on the form for any reason.
No cash advances will be paid out against this card.
